HEH STG Personal Box 23 (09). Memorandum by Richard Temple

Undated. Huntington Library suggests 1830-39. In March 1823 Richard Temple is trying to cut his establishment and men were lost from the gardens (HEH STG Correspondence Box 444 (39)). In June 1827, shortly before going abroad, Temple is again cutting staff (HEH ST 98 Vol 1; 18 June 1827). This date is likely from the reference below to ‘the Dukes Absence.’
