Richard Aldworth Neville (Baron Braybrooke)

1750-1825. Son of Richard Neville and Magdalen Calendrini. Originally of Stanlake and Billingbear, he inherited the Griffin family estates including Audley End, Essex.

A Grenvillite MP but he sometimes opposed their views; especially between 1801 and 1806.

  • 1774-1780: MP for Grampound, Cornwall
  • 19 June 1780: Married Catherine Grenville
  • 1780: Elected MP for Buckingham
  • 1782: Resigned as MP for Buckingham
  • 1782-1797: MP for Reading 
  • 1791: Refused Lieutenancy of Buckinghamshire
  • 1797: Became second Baron Braybrooke
  • 28 February 1825: Death.

Also Lord Lieutenant of Essex and Provost Marshall of Jamaica. A member of Brooks's Club.
