Dear Visitor

I am currently researching a couple of books on the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos. As part of the process, I thought it a good idea to set up a website with the basic information. Here, over the coming months, you will find more and more about the lives, follies and triumphs of this family. But don't expect too much excitement. My best ideas and stories are being kept for the books. You can also read more at the Duke's blog.

Inevitably, there will be mistakes on this site, and I do not know everything about the Buckinghams. If you have corrections or information, I will be happy to hear from you. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far. Please keep the information coming.
